Had McCain been the nominee in 2000, I would have been far more likely to vote Republican that year. This will be the ninth presidential election I’ve voted in, and I’ve gone three times R, four times D and once Independent, but I just can’t see voting R any more. I think it’s time for the GOP to go the way of the Whigs.
