Our house is on one of the flight paths for the local airport. Don’t hear the planes most of the time. But on 9/11 when everything was grounded, the silence was eerie.
Sounds like my apt - the helicopters don’t come by that often, you don’t really hear the highway or the trains and you do get used to the honking and ambulances…

you might get used to the plane noise,,we used to live right next to a railroad line and after a while you didn’t even hear the trains
