bugaboo27, it’s only in the iPad they don’t let you install it. All my Macs allow Flash. Then, all my computernerd friends really hate it - and most of them run Linux not MacOSX.
Not having any usb-ports is also quite a jump, when the first iMacs came along without a floppy drive people thought the Mac people were mad but they foresaw the death of the floppy disc. Now they foresee everything being wireless, I suppose. Let’s see how this will work out.
It was the Wicked Witch in The Wizard of Oz who offered the apple. Now I know where it came from all is explained. Ever tried using the Apple version of software after using the Windows version? If so then you will know how much the Wicked Witch was consumed by hate.

The Mac desktops/laptops use Flash but the iPad does not.

I run mac osx w/snowleopard, and ubuntu linux on the same machine, both of which have no trouble with flash.
