I love texting. Why? Because it’s faster. And less awkward than calling people and going through the “hi, how are you” “good” “good” “what’d you think of the class/crap” before just getting to the point and asking htem what you meant to ask.
nighthawks, my grandmother was in her 80s the last time I spoke with her before she died, had been in the US nearly 65 of those 80 some odd years and her German accent was still so thick you couldn’t understand it if you didn’t verstehen sie a little bit of the Deutsche. Of course she lived in a neighborhood of very similar folks who also spoke much the same way.
LOL I just saw a video clip of a girl texting while walking in a mall, and she walked/fell right into a fountain! Hope she doesn’t text and drive as well!
