Reminds me of the time our dog talked the cat into jumping on the counter to knock a box of doggy biscuits on the floor so the dog could rip open the package. She was a kind polite dog and shared the biscuits with the cat. But she would never let the cat by her food dish.
I was watching.
The doggy biscuits were on the counter, not still in the grocery bag on the floor because I knew the dog would get them if I left them in the bag on the floor with the other groceries.
I was in the hallway bringing in the next armload of groceries when I saw the dog whispering in the cat’s ear. I wondered what they were up to, so I watched.
