There was once a time when we could always go to a competitor. Now we are on our way to one giant corporation (like GUM in the Soviet Union) which is our only source of anything.
This is why I “luv” Southwest Airlines. No extra charge to change flights (just the difference in price). If the second flight is less, you actually get a credit!

Yep…or, vote with your dollar. We live in a bargaining world nowadays. There was a time when we were charged something and didn’t question it.
