As having lifelong depression, I tried so hard to hold down a bank job. I tried as hard as I could to not make mistakes, and had people even double check my work. My mind had slowed down to the point that I couldn’t concentrate. As hard as the bank tried to keep me, I kept having corrective action meetings with my boss. I remember walking in every day for many months wondering if it would be my last day. Oh, the stress. (and I did end up losing it but found the help I needed.)
