I’m a former waitress, I overtip.

I’ve never worked retail or food service or food delivery. I tip 20 percent minimum. This is because I can read and I have ears—so I’ve read and listened to the stories of people who have worked those jobs.

if owners paid people what they were worth tips would not be necessary.
