aww they’re going home – we came back to Iceland yesterday. It’s been really fun being in Paris same time as Claire and Paul in the strip, sorry if the rest of you were irritated at my comments :þ And yes – we’ll be back too…

Pift! I rarely get out of Nebraska let alone the country. You guys are an inspiration :P

I was thinking of taking the wife to Germany and Austria, and showing her where I had gone and the sites I’d seen. But we keep thinking that it would be such a hassle: planning, packing, putting up with today’s security (maybe it isn’t as nightmarish as purported), the humid conditions, and the jetlag. Whoa. I sure painted a negative picture. Funny. I don’t usually recall all the negative aspects when I reminisce about the trip. Someone help me think positive ……

Sadly I said the same thing about the World Trade Center a year before 9/11. In this day and age…. you just never know. (sigh)

and @Kingoswald and @bevgreyjones, look up a little restaurant called /po.za.da/ close to Nation metro station. Best food we had all trip (just wrote a review for it on Tripadvisor) :D
