It’s good to know your heritage. People used to know family stories and traditions that were passed along from generation to generation, and now everyone thinks that they do is the most important. I can’t wait to tell my kids that their great-grandmother moved to this country without her parents when she was 13 to help her brothers make their way. Hopefully that should give them some courage to be brave and try something new.
