OK… I have to ask… How are American showers different to European showers? We have two types…

A mixer-shower, with just two taps, one to switch between the hand-held and the over-head outlets… The other adjusts the hot/cold mix… as most single hot/cold taps… Looking behind Claire, this seems to be that type…

An electric-shower, more popular in the UK but practically non-existent in France, with an on/off button, wattage selection controller, and water pressure selection controller…

Moving here from the UK… just crossing the Channel… I’m still learning French… I did find a job, eventually… brought my effects over, over a period of time… no animals to bring over, made friends with local cats… I did have major advantages, it’s true Paul… but I love it here and my daughters and grandchildren visit me frequently…

They don’t seem to have run into a bidet.

I did. In a hotel room bath room in Cannes France.

The EU tends to frown on people overstaying their tourist and student visas.
