Just take it off and put it back on when you get in there. What’s she gonna do about that?

The rule is that boys and men remove their hats. But I doubt people follow that much anymore.

Thats why some people get is so much trouble when adults they don’t follow rules don’t think rules apply to them. I told my daughter when she was done with HS going to college rules will change and some student wouldn’t try to get her in trouble when that student started the problem and got away with it. It really ticked her off. I see adults take hats off inside and leave them off. My brother-in-law strickly farm boy(adult) mostly takes his hat off for Grace then leaves it on.

And they never do. It’s bad when JOHN McENROE complains about backward hats during a tennis game. YOU KNOW it’s bad manners then.

I remember in basic training that as we passed through a door, going inside, we had to slap our hat against our thigh. It was so our instructor could count us off without looking, and to make an issue of it so we would always remember.

Better to ask forgiveness than permission.

The elementary school where I have worked for 25 years, has a rule about absolutely no hats hood, etc, inside. I have questioned it several times and I always get a blank look. Blank looks from blank people!

This strip is wise. Not only does it happen to first graders, but it happens in high school, in jobs, and even to senior trial attorneys in court (believe me, I know). Playground Lady is just a bit more forthcoming than most about why the injustice persists.
