This is maybe not relevant, but today’s strip reminded me of a funny event. Many years ago, I was doing the Big Brother thing, and for some reason we ended up at my house one day. I think we were going to play Madden, but I ended up showing the kid my Tivo. I’ve had one since they first came out, but the kid had never seen or even heard of one before, so I explained how I could pause shows, or watch shows that had been broadcast in the past. The kid went, “Uh-huh, uh-huh”… and then immediately asked if we could use it to watch a program that wouldn’t be on until the next day! Threw me for quite a loop, but a good lesson in how kids think.
