It amazes me that no matter how many times it gets told, no one seems to learn. Birdhouses do not, and should not have perches. The only birds that “need” them per se (at least in the US) are the non-native English Sparrows. Also, it just gives predators something to sit/hang on to when trying to raid the house.

On today’s strip Ruthie finally finds her best friend, which is rather touching considering that she insulted him two weeks ago.
