Poster promoting a memory improvement course on the wall at my college. Somebody wrote on it the day after, “Damn! I forgot to sign up”. (I guess you had to be there)

At his age, you keep on the lookout for straight lines.

When I forget why I have gone into a room I check to see if I have a medical bag or fire hose in my hand.

Mother Nature has no end of surprises up her sleeve. Puberty – old age…the time between kinda flew by – I’m guilty. I took it, health, physical, mental, emotional so for granted. Ah well…as Paul Simon said “Memories that’s all that’s left you”.

Very true I had mom went through Dementia first then through medical issues had first benign cell no specialist or primary ever mentioned follow up. Five years later benign cell changed to cancer she was 5% this happens too. Passed away month ago. I know about Dementia and some about Alzheimer neither are treatable. Sister and I know what are future is. As my mom’s sister had Alzheimer and their mom had Dementia.

Contrary to legend, short term memory is not the first to go, names are first, then nouns, adjectives, and random random words n that order; then short term memory.
