My kids like the weirdest stuff, like calamari, escargot, sushi (the raw fish type). Mainly because their dad and I liked them and ordered them at every opportunity. This made the kids curious and wanting to try new things. Of course, our youngest could never be tempted by onions in any forms, and our eldest absolutely hated anything containing visible fat.
Dad does not always work with Ruthie. Since at home I tell kids try first then does not waste as much.If I fixed something I tell kids they will not like it and they see if they would.
