I once saw a bit of “Extreme Makeover Home” and the people said “this house is so bad the only choice is to tear it down and start over.” I wonder if they ever do that with the original “Extreme Makeover:” “This woman is hideous and she her clothing choices offend the eyes. Let’s shoot her and make a new person.”
“They” also never take into account why the homeowners cannot afford to fix their place. When it’s all said and done, the owners cannot afford the higher taxes assessed on the new and improved property.

My 9 y/o granddaughter has moved on from mostly kids shows to home shows – like the makeover, flip, and tiny house ones. Growing up too quickly.
