You can call anything art, but if you want to charge a lot of money for it, you have to have a name people recognize.

Most artists works aren’t valuable until after their demise.

Dad’s right, Ruthie…judging by some of the things called “art” today, there is no quality control!

Exactly! Now you got it, Ruthie!

Ruthie’s greatest piece, “Lump of molded clay”.

Tape it to a wall with a banana and charge $150,000.

Getting someone to pay for it is an art.

This would be funny for a different family. Unfortunately, since Ruthie’s mother is a potter, it feels like a slam at her. :/
