I can never figure out how using a word in a sentence would help a kid figure out how to spell it…

If you don’t know what a puddle is at the age of eight, then yes my day was that rough!
Some kids never grow out of the “everything is about me” phase (*cough*DonaldTrump*cough*).
I usually used something like “mom saw a puddle/bubble/muffle” and stopped there.
Muffle?
“Fine. Mr. Puddle is going to paddle his son’s bottom if he doesn’t do his homework!”
