Where my parent’s used to live, both gone, we rent, just up the street was several business, the latest and current one is a doggy day care, I doubt the dogs are watching TV, I know a comic strip. We have 3 dogs here where mama and daddy gone, the dogs just lay around wondering if they been abandoned, all nice and comfy in the house.
Our cat was fine being home alone. As long as there was food, water and a clean litter box. Our dog would chew on things. Like the siding on the house, etc.

Which means she will have the same type of relationship with the Dog that she has with her Parents.
