I had a cat that would lie in wait for me under the front of the couch. As I walked to the kitchen, it would spring out and grab my ankle and swing around. It then held my ankle and kicked with her hind legs and playfully disembowel my slippers. She then patted my foot twice and ran back under the couch. It may all be a kitty game.
My son took a cat from an elderly lady who died. The cat hates people. Her family was going to have it put down. It took a few months, but now he hangs out with the family and the other pets. Oh, he still bites when you try to touch him. (He can’t scratch because the old lady had him declawed.) I call him Butthole.
