Willie might need more than just exercise, maybe something mom doesn’t want him doing in the house.

My cousin briefly had a flying squirrel for a pet (like Rocky). It climbed up the curtains and swooped down. Until my aunt evicted it.

My two small dogs and 2 cats did a good job of keeping mice out of the house (or at least keeping their stay short). If one got in, it would find itself in the middle of a soccer game in the hallway in the middle of the night. It always lost.
I’ve actually had a squirrel get in the house. It made a nest in the attic, and you could hear it romping around on the ceiling. Crazy times.
Our dog wakes my brother every morning at 6 for her walk come rain, sleet, or sun.
