For years, I’ve been plagued with those “Won’t youJoin Us for wonderful bargains ?” crap and somewhere out there, there’s an eMail box with TONS of crap sent to bobbysmith(at)woolybooger.net aaarrghh !!
Fortunately, in California, as in some other States, you do not have to give all that registration info to be entitled to warranty service. Why would anyone want to get on yet another list?
I appreciate when the cashier is friendly, but sometimes they try to hard, like commenting on an item you bought. Like a package of cat treats (Oh, do you have a kitty?). Or, my favorite when I got a bottle of Witch Hazel (What do you use Witch Hazel for?) If I had told her the truth, it would probably have cured her from asking more questions.
What is it with people saying “if” and not finishing the sentence? Does she mean to say, “ If you fill this out, I would appreciate it.” ? “If you fill this out, I will allow you to leave the store”? “If you fill this out, I will send you tons of unsolicited junk mail?” Finish your sentence!
Read this years ago, one of the first live email addresses was jsmith@yahoo.com (John) it is still live and receives thousands, if not more, emails a day. If you have to put in an address that you don’t want to come back to you jsmith@yahoo.com!

I hate when the cashier asks if that will be everything. No, I’m just standing here with this item so I can turn around and get a few more things.

Most of the time I use self checkout.if the cashier is a pretty blonde or brunette, then I’ll go up to her.

Jon Pinette did it better. If the microwave breaks, I will absorb the loss.
