Some (many) people want to have a church (or religion) where they can make God into whatever they want God to be.

Years ago I realized that there are things we will never ‘know’. God’s existence is not something that we can know, what others believe is no better or worse than what you believe. Respect other’s beliefs, and don’t demand they suspend theirs because of what you believe.

The bottom line is if you care and want to see someone saved healed and set free, it’s best not to push your dogma or doctrine. If they aren’t ready you’ll make it harder for them. Love and live, demonstrate Christ love and if they hate you, pray from a distance.

Try the New Wave Church. I hear they’re very lively.

Since all religions are nothing but man made delusions – you can make up any type at and call it good. You’d think after all this time people would realize religion is the oldest scam around. Like Mulder, they just can’t help themselves.

Church is not a cafeteria where you can pick and choose which bits you want. You take it all in.

She could just go attend the Sunday chapel services given by the Arkham Asylum Chaplin when she goes to visit her son…

Sounds like Unitarian Universalist to me (I’m Presbyterian). I’ll share this with the Unitarian Unversalist Hysterical Society group on Facebook. They’ll get a kick out of it.
