The Yaquina Head and the Yaquina Bay. The Yaquina Bay had been placed at the mouth of the bay, and they didn’t realize their mistake until after someone went onto a reef. It was closed after only three years of service.
The Yaquina Head is 93 foot tall, the tallest of the Oregon lighthouses. The view from the top is amazing.
