We have 5. You can tell how cold it is by the number of cats on the bed. Last night was a 3 cat night but that was because two of them were on the girl’s beds. The dogs were in their beds downstairs.
When I came back from a long trip, one of my cats would give me the “stranger” look. “No, it’s me, see.” “If it is you, you would know where the food is kept.” “Right, right. I’ll get it now.”

I am REALLY glad that I’m not the only one who sleeps with my head at the “foot” end of the bed!
