Simple solution… just mulch the tree from the other pirates’ ship.

Used to cut our own trees down but don’t anymore. Those beautiful trees on the lot should be left in the woods growing. It is sad after Christmas to see them still in the lots just waiting…………………………………………….. enuf said.

I feel sorry for the little trees. So my nice fake tree comes down from the loft every year – it’s part of our christmas tradition (along with the same decorations). It all looks fine, and I think our daughter would be quite upset if we changed it.

Anyway, the little gardener is too early, it’s not 12th night yet.

Pine tree do not make good mulch, at least the needles don’t, they make the soil too acidic. But again some plants like blueberries like acidic soils.

Yeah, Nate, I love the pretty lights too! Gee Nate, you and I have so much in common! Except our weight of course!

    Good afternoon Crew!

I had to come back to work today! Hard to get into the groove after 11 days off, so here I am! :-D

Don’t mulch that tree , some places( along the ocean shore line ) place old Christmas trees on the sand dunes ! The trees help build the sand dunes by catching and holding the drifting sand !

When I was a child (in medieval times) we’d collect the trees from other people’s garbage and form a bird sanctuary in our back yard. And in the spring, Dad would cut up the pine logs and use them the following winter.

After reading the comments, I guess me and CapKidd aren’t as “far out there” as I thought. LOL! Some of those ideas I never thought of, but then, I don’t leave near a shore or ocean, SIGH! AND THOSE LOVELY TREES are still sitting in the same lot mentioned above! They still look green and fresh. For now!
