He is a lab. Newfies are Dark brown or black and weigh 110 to 150 with a lot of shaggy hair. Labs. weigh 55 to 75 lbs. I have an incredible book on dogs.
We’ve had two BCs who will sing; 2 1/2 if you include our wonderful Gray, who would sing but only with the monthly siren test. My husband and I will sometimes, just for fun, sing along with TV themes ( I know: lame, cheesy…). Well I gotta tell you our “junior” little guy REALLY gets into it with the theme from “Rawhide”, which makes my husband and me REALLY get into it — all before he goes to work. So there we are, the three of us howling away first thing in the morning and our “senior” dog wishing he’d been adopted by somebody else!

Sorry Louie, but some solos are better by themselves. You’re welcome to join when one of the young pop pseudo stars is singing.

Mom loved Pavorotti. She wouldn’t appreciate Louie’s singing along. Good evening Crew!

I’ll listen to ya, Louie! You may need to sneak off somewhere, but I’ll be in the front row.
I still love Louie’s legs-up position when lying down, too.
Good Evening, Crew.

My little one ‘sings’ with the Trumpet parts and certain Violin bits. She’s usually in tune too.
