My grandma always made it with orange jello. Never really cared for it, myself…

Orange Jell-o, crushed pineapple and grated carrot. A treat.

I like Jello and cottage cheese,but together no thanks.

Hey! That’s my MIl’s jello! When we were cleaning out her house we found 10 boxes of lime jello and several cans of pineapple. She made this for every occasion!

Now the Captain has to think of which dish they want to pawn off, er, bequeath to the Green Ship.

That salad also should contain cream cheese, walnuts, raisins, & bits of pineapple. By the way, those ‘little white things’ are marshmellows.

No, they are cottage cheese.

Wow the Vegatarian comments are out in full force today. Glad to see you guys recovered from the snub a couple days ago with Santa’s flying roast beef sandwiches.

I’m not a pirate and it would take me a second or two after being offered that dish!

My mom made that salad! the little white bits might be cream cheese, which should be in it. and it has crushed pineapple. and people always talk about it like it’s gross but it’s delicious. I miss it since my mom died and I am too lazy to make it, also I don’t need to eat the whole thing.

Tell the mice they’re going to have to take one for the team…“Just make it look like people took some spoonfuls out of the bowl, OK?”

If he doesn’t know what’s in it, who made it? If it were my grandma, it would have to be from 1940.

My sister’s MIL made that jello with lime jello, cottage cheese and pineapple every Christmas, while my mom made Orange, carrot and pineapple salad. Both were delicious.
