Many years ago I decided to trap mice in a humane trap (alive) which was all well and good for me, but I would release the critters over the fence into my neighbors yard, well away from their house. Does that make me a bad person/neighbor?
And now I am pitiable, for I have lost three sons. … then ruthless men dragged another to hisdoom when by unheard-of arts they had contrived a wooden snare, adestroyer of Mice, which they call a trap. … Come, then, and let usarm ourselves and go out against them when we have arrayedourselves in rich-wrought arms.
I feel a little sad when I kill a mouse – but I shake it off. I still load ‘em and empty ’em at my house. If you don’t want your head mashed in a mouse trap – get outta my kitchen.
At first glance, I thought that was … um … something else dropping from the flying object. Or creature, who looked like a bird, since I saw panels 2-3 first. Nah—never mind.

You’d think Jax could build something better after 67 years.
on the other hand, why move away from what’s been working for you?

Jax doesn’t kill mice. People kill mice.
I guess that phrase isn’t as catchy.

They’ve built mousetraps for this long, but can they build a better mousetrap?

All right, so I have a question: is that thing on the floor being bombed a banana or a pepper?

I don’t know why everyone loves these rodents on this strip, they eat garbage out of the dumpster and carry diseases
