Talk about an ungrateful complainer! Wasn’t there a saying or song lyric, “You don’t know how good you got it until its gone.” I say live for today, for tomorrow may never come. (But save money for a rainy day!)

Ah, but August hayfever…….until first frost.

July and August are really hot and humid here. I can’t wait for Sept and Oct.

Someone needs to explain to Nate what happens if we never stop having July.

Sort of like that episode where genie Jeannie thought astronaut Tony needed a rest, so blinked it where every day would be Sunday. It’s unsustainable.

Skip August and September. Go straight to October.

Spring and fall both offer temperate conditions, if we’re lucky. When I was a kid, I preferred spring to fall, because after spring came summer vacation. But as an adult, I prefer autumn to spring, because after spring comes insufferable heat and humidity from which, too much of the time, I have no defense. Even if I come into someplace air-conditioned in summer, I come in wet and stinking of sweat, with no chance to shower or change clothes. People who love summer heat must never go anyplace without a locker room!

Where has my Chief been for the past 6 days? I hope all is well.

If only we could refuse to accept August.

Normally I really like warm weather, but this summer’s has seemed a bit excessive here. Bring back spring, and for the first time in memory, I’m kinda looking forward to autumn.
