I was looking for fun Canadian holidays, but I only find serious ones. “International Day for Tolerance”. I’m certain our Canadian friends can fill us in. They must have the greatest sense of humor in the world. They’d have to, living next to us.
I remember my dad always saying that his favorite Holiday was Thanksgiving. As a kid, I always had Christmas in the number 1 spot. Now that I’m a dad myself, I’ve come to understand my dad’s point of view. Thanksgiving has become my favorite holiday and is my favorite meal of the year.
Regardless of Thanksgiving, I really hate to see October go. It’s a beautiful month plus it’s not too hot nor too cold. Oh well. It’ll be back next year. With luck, so will I — lol.
