"I've never heard of any of these so-called '100 Greatest Books'..." "Sorry, 'Green Eggs & Ham' didn't make the list." "And why NOT? It's a classic!" "It didn't exactly have a profound impact on western civilization." "Oh?...That book influenced millions to broaden their horizons and try new things!" "Like...green eggs and ham?" "So, a few thousand kids ended up in the emergency room...you just said 'impact' you didn't say, HOW."

Honestly… RJ isn’t completely wrong. It’s a classic children’s book, a lot of people read it growing up and Dr. Seuss is one of the most beloved authors of all time. Not sure that means it belongs on a list of the greatest books of all time, but its really more important than Verne is giving it credit for.
