@Leslie Barks the concept of eleven on a scale of one to ten comes from the movie “this is spinal tap”, a mockumentary about a heavy metal bad, who, on one of their amps, adds an eleven above the ten on the volume control, then forces the knob to eleven. i’ve always seen it as a metaphor about reach exceeding grasp
