Cool coincidence – comics are usually done weeks ahead, yet this one was spot on, at least for those of us in the midwest.
In 13 years of public school, the only time we had snow days was the blizzard of 1978. Prior to that, our idiot school administrator wouldn’t close the schools unless he couldn’t get out on the road. He lived in town, on a main street that was plowed first, AND he had a 4 wheel drive. He ignored the fact that at least 60% of his students lived outside the city limits, and that all the other school systems closed. What an idiot.

the school I went to was in walking distance for everyone ….. no snow days there.

My husband actually has a snow day today. Funny…it doesn’t look like it did when we were kids. Oh, what the heck. SNOW DAY!!!

I grew up in Phoenix. Never had a snow day in my life. I have heard of a school or two closing because of AC issues though
