I love the thinly disguised allegory in this strip, “it’s better to be stupid” or “Ignorance is bliss” is a great old bit of shtick. Unfortunately, it really seems to be the case from my view. I see many people who lack any real understanding of how the world really works. They seem to be a lot happier than myself, not having as much to worry about. I’ve tried to make myself worry less and feel happier but eventually I run out of Scotch.
