Note to self: The next time you tell someone to “do the math” be sure to add “but keep it to yourself”.

We live in an infinite universe w a given amount of energy and mass. Any finite number over infinity is so small a number that it rapidly approaches zero. Ergo given x/ infinity is zero by definition not only do other life forms not exist neither do we ! If you don’t believe me ask Sartre.

I think we’re under quarantine. The aliens are keeping their distance else we could hear them giggling, or crying…

Given our version of physics, even if another intelligent culture IS out there, and they progressed say a thousand years ahead of us, we’d still have a long time to wait for a radio signal to reach them and come back.

Now if our version of physics ISN’T the total equation, and those cultures DO have a way to reach us, we’s sure better hope they’re as generous as Vern, and not like RJ, or we’re just twinkies.
