All politics aside, how about you apply the rules your parents taught you about boasting and lying to the statement referenced? Isolate the context. The other side doesn’t matter, because the election was years ago. The guy who said that is an unapologetic oaf, who made a statement so ridiculous it took the audience totally by surprise. Anybody else in any other context would be looked at as a fool. No one on the left or right, should let a boast that enormous slide.

I guess that TDS even affects cartoonists. They hear the same BS so often, they really believe it.

This isn’t politics. It’s the way normal people react to being robbed of their constitutional rights.

It’s true, but if you watch certain networks you would not be aware of it. You’d be talking about Russian collusion.

With more reductions, suppressions & repressions of rights are on the way. They as a group, DJT is just one man, the plan predates him and is bigger than him. They want one more Constitutional Convention. The last one of those was in 1787 to revise the Articles of Confederation before they threw it out and opted to try a Federalist, black slave heavy favoring Constitution. Well they want new Articles of Confederation that they will write for us themselves. Right Wing Libertarians, White supremacists and billionaires will do the writing to put our “Democracy in Chains” like what was done to Chile in 1973. And the dictatorship is long gone from Chile, but their constitution is locked up and can barely be altered. They want to do it here. They are in the minority and know it and don’t care. They demand their way.

Over the Hedge drives the blues away, especially when we’re suffering from the orange wrecking-ball. Nice to know some humorists recognize this need. Too bad contemporaries didn’t poke more fun at Hitler.

I read your comic because I like the characters but I wish you guys would leave the political commentary out…….
