Too bad they’re closed around here. Rocky Mountain National Park, which was drawing too many visitors to the town of Estes Park, which has a population considered high risk for the virus.

And now rangers are chasing folks out of other parks – if for no other reason than lots and lots of illegal parking – indicating that they, too, are attracting too many visitors to maintain social distancing.

Folks! The parks and trails are packed with people! Please walk around your own neighborhoods!

And if we can vote the Republicans out, maybe the parks will be there next year!

Thanks guys! Spent a decade as a Ranger, and the parks are now working to keep people safe from themselves. Hmm, and the bears and critters seem happy about it!!

A lot of vandalism going on in the National parks. You have to be some kind of sh**head to go and tear up parks just because they are closed for safety. Same thing happened when the government was shut down a couple years ago. People went and drove off road vehicles through Joshua Tree, tearing up protected vegetation and set trees on fire, and in many other parks. Some humans are vile. Probably the same ones demonstrating at state capitols, waving their big guns around in their tiny hands. Filth.

Republikkkans have been itching for years to sell off the National Parks and all other federal lands… watch for one of their weasely congressmen to propose selling it all to pay for Covid relief.

Nice joke. Parks are all closed. Maybe move the date to August and hope for the best.
