The Mayans had a goddess of suicide. According to their religion, if you committed suicide, you wernt straight to the highest heaven. One of the many reasons why their civilization died out.

In “Dead Like Me” when a reaper is reaping their final soul – that person is then assigned to become a reaper. (Apparently reapers are given quotas to meet.)

Wasn’t there a TV series several years ago along the same theme (suicides become reapers)?

Actually, I find this touching. Why is everyone so afraid of little depth?

Just my opinion. Suicide is often not desired, it just becomes necessary. Spend the last 6 months of your life in pain in a bed or check out early on your terms while you still can. Individual decision that is right for the person at that time. No one else deserves an opinion.

Better than what happens in Beetlejuice.

    There suicides become civil servants.

I have forgot the timing, but I’ll say 11th 12th century the Catholic church was OK with suicide for the right reasons. Dying before the heathen hordes killed you. Maybe other reasons. Research it.

Really unnecessary and insensitive of those who have lost a child to suicide like I have. That’s not how I want to think of my son.
