A young man went off to college, and when he came back home at the end of the school year, his father asked him “Do you know more now than you did before you went to college?” The son answered "Yes. I know a lot more now than before ", to which the father replied “You haven’t learned anything.” The next fall, he went back to college, and when he came back home at the end of another year, his father asked him “Do you know more now than you did last year?”, and the son answered “Yes, I know a bit more than last year”. The father again replied “You haven’t learned anything.” He then went away for his third year of college, and when he came back home, his father asked him again “do you know more than you did last year?”. The son answered “Mostly I just know how much there is that I don’t know.” The father then said “Now you’ve learned something”.
Stephen Frye (who knows lots of things) compared “knowing lots of things” to being covered with sand. If you come back from the beach and someone says “My, that’s a lot of sand!” they aren’t wrong, but it’s nothing compared to the sand that remains on the beach.

That’s a surprisingly deep question from RJ.
Are we sure Hammy’s shenanigans with him and Verne don’t still be in effect?

Someone accused me of being apathetic but I couldn´t be bothered to find out what that meant.

Since no one has done it yet. . . .
“There are known knowns. These are things we know that we know.
There are known unknowns. That is to say, there are things that we know we don’t know.
But there are also unknown unknowns. There are things we don’t know we don’t know." – Donald Rumsfeld
