The salespeople can find other jobs. But fish can’t find another ocean to live in when thiers gets polluted.

I spent about a dozen years one week selling vacuum cleaners door to door. What a scam THAT was. Both ways. I never made a penny (though they paid for my 50% of a motel room and fed me). And the folks who actually paid for one MAY have gotten something, though I’ve no proof. Judging purely by how they treated us, the odds seem good to me that they go something worth far less than they paid.

Haters gotta hate, worriers gotta worry, I guess.
