History was written by the men who won the wars, Patty. Otherwise, we would better remember Deborah Sampson. (Let’s see who can figure it out without Wikipedia guiding the way.)

Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Ford, Carter, Reagan, Bush Sr., Clinton, Bush Jr., and Obama were men too!

You can tell this is an old strip. Shermy seems to know who Washington, Jefferson and Lincoln were. You can get through high school these days and not have a clue about them beyond, “Hey, aren’t those all coin-face dudes?”

If only some women could see the excellent point Patty just made. It’s not about being on a 20 dollar bill. It’s about the lives you changed when they were small and still changeable.

Orinoco, ‘Nunya,You’re quoting from PROVERB 31, not Psalm 31. That proverb also says the ideal woman rises before dawn and sews clothes together for her household (“she takes the distaff”).

Another dollar bill with no dead president on it is the $10 bill; Alexander Hamilton was never a U.S. president.

I always had the theory of why they put Ben on the $100 dollar bill is because(especially these days)nobody would be able to see it,or,remember it.
