    I once refused to give up a favorite dress myself. I think my mom donated it to a charity or thrift shop.

    There was a dress that my daughters loved. My older one wore it until it didn’t fit, then it fit her little sister perfectly. When she outgrew it we gave it to a friend. This past Sunday we were pleased to see her wearing it…and she loves it, too.

    Don’t laugh – I’ve seen mothers and grandmothers at high school graduations STILL trying to fit into dresses from the era of THEIR graduations. (Members, no doubt, of the local chapter of Future Hootchies of America…)
