Charlie Brown has it right. There’s nothing more relaxing than spending time working the ground.

I often played in a sandbox when I was little.

Sandboxes always make me think of this from Sesame Street:

Ernie: I was walking down the street, and I one the sandbox.

    Bert: I two the sandbox.

    Ernie: I three the sandbox.

    Bert: I four the sandbox.

    Ernie: I five the sandbox.

    Bert: I six the sandbox.

    Ernie: I seven the sandbox.

    Bert: I eight the sandbox.

Ernie: You ate the sandbox? How’d it taste, Bert?

Let’s hope there’s no stray cats near that sandbox…

I remember playing in the sandbox with my Tonka Toys! I had a road grader, and a dump truck, and a fire pumper truck you could hook up to the garden hose!

    I was lucky I had a good childhood…
