Poor Snoopy.

Maybe you can negotiate a “treace peaty” after all?

The’re doing her a favor. The less time she plays, the more the costume lasts for the next game.

Wow, times changed. I can’t imagine the later Snoopy pulling a wagon, let alone playing a game with the kids that wasn’t baseball! However, CB did say “please.”

CB is amusingly bungling the lyrics: Swanee River and Chisholm Trail.

And nobody even batted an eye about kids playing with guns or acting out war games.

How much did that wagon cost, is the real question?

Enjoyable.

This is excellent cartooning! In fact, Sparky at his best!

At least back when it was first published, no one would have thought this comic strip was “racist”.

Prices were low, but the wages matched. An accurate measure would be, “How long did you have to work to earn that costume?” —but where’s the fun in that?

As already stated, poor Snoopy…

I really loved these older strips by Sparky. Snoopy wasn’t arrogant (and actually looked like a beagle), and Charlie Brown was a normal kid.

That punchline sound like something kids of Family Circus would say!
