’twas worth a shot, Sherman
A simple “no, thank you” would have been more than sufficient, Charlie Brown!
Well hello, Shermy. Haven’t seen you in a while. Starting to get surprised you lasted into the ’60s.
Yup, there’s the CB we all know and…put up with.
Is this when Charlie Brown starts to become pathetic?
Neuroses start early. Charlie Brown, the “everyman” of America.
And so it begins….Charlie Brown, that hero of losers….
Hello, Real Charlie Brown. Glad to finally meet you!
Usually Patty beat Charlie Brown at marbles (and Lucy beat him at checkers, and life beat him at life!)
You know, this is really the first time reading Peanuts Begins that I could hear that slightly gravelly Charlie Brown voice from the TV specials while I was reading what he was saying.
The character is beginning to settle in.
What an optimist.
