I grew up on the Gulf Coast, and I was twelve years old before I even saw snow. A really nice fall occurred one night and I couldn’t go out next day because I was sick with bronchitis. I watched the neighborhood kids making snow angels, throwing snowballs, building a snowman… through my living room window. It was torture. Now, snow to me means an icy road and dangerous driving conditions, but I still love to watch it fall and to walk into the woods behind the house to hear it falling through the branches.

Could’ve looked out the window instead of coming all the way here

Yeah, it’s kind of difficult to build a snowman, much less the best snowman ever, when there’s no snow.

I remember those hats so well—both Patty’s and CB’s. Only thing missing, little Lucy’s hood would have had bunny ears!
