This comic will fly right over the heads of the young.

Schroeder is lowering himself. I’d think he would realize that Liberace was a good – but not a great – pianist.

I remember seeing this in a book of Peanuts comics we had back when I was an elementary school kid. I had no idea what it meant then.

Useful if the electricity is out as mine was last weekend after a storm with fierce winds. It would have been lovely to have heard Schroeder playing a Beethoven piano sonata by candlelight.
