Do kids still have sandboxes? Back in the old days sand was considered an important tool for kids’ development. I have been reading children’s books from the 1920s. Even in first grade, the kids were given a “sand table” in the classroom. I can just imagine what would happen with that today.
I had some landscaping done 30 years ago and asked the landscaper to take the remaining railroad ties and make a sandbox for my kids. It was beautiful…..for about a week. And then every cat in the neighborhood decided it was a communal litter box. That was the end of THAT idea. (Later I got rid of the sand and made a garden).

They kinda left out the key ingredient of a SAND box. The company gets a 5 star for accessories and a -5 star for brains.
